About TIM MAI, CEO

Tim Mai is the embodiment of the American Dream. Having survived a childhood that included war, a dramatic escape from pirates at sea, and languishing in a refugee camp, he arrived in Houston, Texas, at age 12, with his 19 year-old brother, speaking no English and with nothing more than the shirt on their back.

Tim started real estate investing in 2002, after he was laid off from his IT job. Since then, became an industry leader who has acquired and exited well over $50M worth of real estate and currently a partner (GP & LP) in over 4200 units of multifamily apartments.

Along with his many business accomplishments, he has also been very active with several charity organizations and has helped raise over a million dollars for charities as well as building a self-sustaining village, with 50 homes, in Haiti.

Jennifer Semien is a CPA with 20+ years of accounting, finance, and leadership experience.

Her real estate journey began in 2012, as a part-time investor alongside her demanding corporate career. Over the years, her expertise and passion for investing have grown, leading her to participate in the acquisition of more than 2,000 multifamily and commercial units.

She is a staunch advocate for professionals seeking to diversify their portfolios through real estate, offering insights on strategies that maximize returns while minimizing tax liabilities.

Throughout her career, Jennifer has not only excelled professionally but also demonstrated her passion for mentorship, having successfully guided and mentored fellow accountants and corporate professionals to help them achieve their career goals.
